1. Castles and historic villas reopen their doors
With the beginning of spring several castles and other historical buildings in Roero and Langhe are once again open to the public. In Roero: the Medieval Castle in Cisterna, with its Arts and Crafts Museum of a Time, the Castle and Park in Sanfrè, the Govone Castle, the Monticello d’Alba Castle, the Guarene Castle and the Castle and Park in Pralormo. In Langhe: the WiMu – Wine Museum, located inside the Barolo Castle and the Serralunga d’Alba Castle. Historical homes, parks and guided tours provide the opportunity to enjoy a day between architecture, beautiful views and wine culture. Many castles offer guided visits and special openings, making March the ideal moment to discover these atmospheric locations with more calm compared to the following months.

2. Women and flowers – Monteu Roero Castle

A weekend devoted to spring and feminine creativity, with plants and flowers market exhibition, guided visits and walks in the historical park.

3. Earth Market – Bra
Sunday 15 March 2026
Every third Sunday of the month, under the porticos of Bra’s historic city centre, you’ll find the Earth Market. Around 16 farms, selected by the local Slow Food chapter, offer seasonal products and local delicacies. It’s an opportunity to directly meet the producers, discover authentic flavors and enjoy visiting the beautiful city center.

5. Cantè j’Euv – Monticello d’Alba – Montaldo Roero

One of the most characteristic events in the pre-Easter period: groups of carolers cross the town singing traditional folk songs. This event celebrates and showcases the local culture, inviting residents and guests to join in a simple, authentic and festive atmosphere.
